Johanna has a long experience in international project planning, communication and management, writing EU and other funding applications and facilitating meetings. Cooperation with other organisations is the key, and Johanna loves to work with people from different sectors to develop and implement projects with added value. She has the ability to familiarise herself fast with any field.
In the Baltic Institute of Finland, Johanna has prepared and implemented projects e.g. on sustainable tourism, circular economy and regional innovation policy. She has organised workshops, international seminars and networking events. She has also written research papers and articles on innovation policy and inter-regional cooperation.
Johanna holds a Master’s Degree in Administrative Sciences with Environmental policy as a major and Economics as a minor. She has also qualification as vocational teacher and additional studies e.g. in event facilitation.
