Jenny Uusikartano
Specialist, International Projects and Financing
Jenny joined the staff at the Baltic Institute of Finland first time in 2013. After spending a year abroad in 2014-2015, she rejoined the staff in 2016. During the time she has worked at the Institute, she has gained a vast experience in financial and content management of EU funded projects as well as project design and international development work.
Her background in various projects has demonstrated experience and knowledge especially in the fields of tourism, research & innovation, eGovernance, culture and lifelong learning.
Jenny holds a master’s degree in humanities with major in the Baltic Sea Region Studies from Turku University and a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Tallinn Technical University with major in International Relations. She has also graduated as a Culture Producer from HUMAK University of Applied Sciences. Besides living and studying in Estonia for three years, she has lived in Glasgow and Leeds in the UK.
