BSR Stars S3 – Smart specialisation through cross-sectoral Bio-, Circular- and Digital economy ecosystems project will be launched on 14 June 2016 in Tampere. The partners from Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania and Norway will meet and agree on the start and detailed timeline of project activities. The project focuses on bio- and digital economy fields of smart specialization.The main objective is to improve competences of innovation actors (SMEs, universities, business development organisations, regional authorities and national policymakers) to apply a transnational approach in the implementation of regional and national smart specialisation strategies. BSR Stars S3 will develop and test more integrated innovation support infrastructures, such as transnational utilization of test facilities, business accelerator camps, transnational piloting of research-to-business platform and new innovation ecosystem management online tool.
The kick-off event will be followed on 15 June by a Seminar “Bio- and circular economy cooperation opportunities in the Baltic Sea Region”. Bioeconomy stakeholders from Tampere region are welcome to the seminar organised in Campusarena.
