Current projects between St.Petersburg and Tampere: 

IPR St. Peterburg II (2007-2009)
- The project will increase capacities of intellectual property rights (IPR) actors in St. Petersburg in developing IPR protection system, enforcement practices, IPR utilisation, IPR education and related information distribution through Nordic-Russia cooperation.

Air Quality Management III (2008-2009)
- The project promotes development of local environmental protection systems through city-level and expert cooperation focusing on air quality monitoring in St. Petersburg and in the Finnish cities of Tampere and Helsinki.

SPb InnoReg (2007-2009)
- The project aims to promote sustainable economic development and competitiveness of St. Petersburg through strengthening the regional innovation system (RIS) and improving the utilization of the innovation and research potential of St. Petersburg in cooperation between Finnish, German and Russian partners.
