The project "Enhancing eGovernment Development in St.Petersburg through Innovational Technological Cooperation", shortly eSt. Petersburg II, aims at strengthening cooperation between Finland, especially City of Tampere, and City of St. Petersburg in promoting information society development. Experiences of eTampere programme and Finnish expertise in general are utilised especially in developing electronic services for the city administration (eGovernment) and citizens (eCitizen).
eSt.Petersburg II continues work started in the St.Petersburg City Card project, which ended in 2005. eSt.Petersburg II widens the focus to cover the eGoverment development in St. Petersburg in a wide scale, also beyond the eCard.
eSt.Petersburg II started in February 2006 and will end by the end of 2007.
