- Position of Highly Educated International Workers in Finnish Labour Market

What are your rights and obligations as an employee in Finland? What is Akava and how can it support you as a student and an employee? Which questions are not allowed in a job interview? What’s the salary you may ask for? What are the things you should check in your employment contract?

 

The event takes place on Thursday 15th of April at 15.00-17.00 at the University of Tampere at Pinni Building, lecture room A1081.

 

International Secretary, Ms. Liisa Folkersma and Student Advisor, Ms. Maria Ranta from Akava will discuss these and other topics relating to the position of highly educated international workers in Finnish labour market. They are ready to answer your questions on the topic and give you tips for job-hunting.

– How to prepare and what to expect in Finnish Job Interview

 

Job Interview Info for international students is arranged in Thursday 11th of February at 14.30-16.30 at Virta building, lecture room 120, University of Tampere (address: Åkerlundinkatu 5).

 

How to get into a job interview and how to succeed in it? What kinds of questions employers ask? What are the dos and don’ts in an interview? What are the most important things in Finnish recruitment culture? Recruitment Consultant Eveliina Nurmi from Arja Raukola Oy Recruitment Services will discuss these and other questions related to Finnish job interviews.

 

International students of TAMK, TUT & UTA are welcome! There are a limited number of places and the registration is binding. Registration is OVER and the event is fully booked.
