IS COM meeting for the preparation of an Interreg III C project proposal "Challenge of eCitizen: Promoting eGovernment Actions in European Cities"

As presented in the Action Plan, IS COM with coordination from the City of Tampere / the Baltic Institute of Finland started to prepare a project proposal "Challenge of eCitizen: Promoting eGovernment Actions in European Cities” for Interreg III C programme. A call for partners was submitted to all UBC member cities on 15 March 2004.
A project preparatory meeting was organized in Tampereon 24 March 2004 in connection with the Tamperee Global Conference. The cities of Turku, Tartu, Kaunas, Vaasa, Odense, St. Petersburg and Tampere participated in meeting, as well as the cities of Sheffield and Bologna.
