IS COM preparatory meeting

The guidelines and contents of the IS COM Action Plan were further elaborated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by the new IS COM Chairman, the Chairman of the Committee for Informatization and Communications of the St. Petersburg Administration, Dr. Sergey Zhdanov.
Representatives of the cities of St. Petersburg, Tampere and Turku as well ICT experts from the cities participated in the meeting. Based on the guidelines agreed in the meeting, the IS COM Action Plan was prepared by the IS COM secretariat (The Baltic Institute of Finland) and presented to the UBC Executive Board in its meeting in Vaasa on 6 March 2004.
