Seminar for law enforcement bodies 9 October 2008

Challenges of fighting counterfeit production were discussed in St. Petersburg on 9 October 2008. The seminar "Questions of counterfeit production – How to fight, how to prevent?" was aimed at Russian and Nordic law enforcement bodies, mainly Customs, and attracted some 40 participants.

In connection with the seminar a workshop was organised for representatives of Finnish and Russian Customs for discussing a concrete pilot activity, planned to take place on the European-Russian border in 2009. 

The seminar and the workshop were organised by the project "IPR Saint-Petersburg - "Enhancing Intellectual Property Rights Competence and Cooperation in Russia (St.Petersburg), Finland, Denmark and Sweden"
