IPR poster competition, July - August 2008

IPR poster competition took place in July - August 2008. The aim of the competition was to attract attention to the problem of audio and video piracy in Russia and to raise awareness about the issue. The competition was open for all interested artists, designers and general public and over 30 drawings were received. The first place with award of 1 000 EUR was granted to Mr Vasily Alexandrov (St. Petersburg). His image was posted in St. Petersburg on billboards and the metro, and it was utilised in the roll-up of the project and t-shirts. The second place with award of 500 EUR was granted to Mr Mikhail Zaplavsky (St. Petersburg). His posters were distributed in St. Petersburg and Moscow to libraries, music and bookstores, computer clubs and nightclubs. The third place with award of 200 EUR was granted to Mr Nikolay Vorontsov (St. Petersburg). His work was printed on flyers and postcards and distributed in St. Petersburg and in Moscow.
