international seminar “Problems of authors’ promotion and IPR protection”, 15 May 2008

On 15 May 2008 an international seminar “Problems of authors’ promotion and IPR protection” took place in the premises of the Informatisation and Communication Committee, Administration of St. Petersburg City with the support of the General Consulate of United States of America. Mr Sergey Zamyatin, representative of Russian Anti-Piracy Organization (RAPO) in North-West Russia presented the project and answered the questions concerning the projects’ activities. The seminar gathered together specialists from various fields: St. Petersburg Administration (Informatisation and Communication Committee, as well as Committee for Justice, Legal Order and Safety), Universities of St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg International Institute of Business and Law), St. Petersburg law companies (“Uskov and Co”, “Gorodissky and partners” etc) and RAPO.
