“Business-mixer” event, 5 March 2008

The project was presented on 5 March 2008 at “Business-mixer” event, which took place in Saint- Petersburg at the Consulate General of Denmark. Mr Sergey Zamyatin, representative of Russian Anti-Piracy Organization (RAPO) in North-West Russia gave an overview of the project activities. The main conclusion was that the Russian authorities are paying more attention to IPR protection and the IPR project would serve as a pilot activity for further possible nationwide campaign against piracy.  Mr Andrey Anisimov, Programme Assistant, Nordic Council of Ministers, acquainted the participants with Nordic-Russian cooperation in the frame of new Knowledge Building and Networking Programme for cooperation with North-West Russia.
