Kick-off seminar 2-4 September 2008

The kick-off seminar of AQM III was held 2-4 September 2008 in St. Petersburg. The seminar concentrated on concrete planning of the project activities and resulted with an updated project action plan.

The well-established cooperation between project partners allowed very efficient collaboration during the kick-off and agreements on the next steps were easily reached. The activities include e.g. developing the quality control and quality assurance system for the air quality measurement and monitoring system in St. Petersburg with related intercalibration and joint measurements of VOC and gaseous compounds, re-establishment of a background monitoring station in St. Petersburg, further development of methodologies of dispersion modelling as well as planning wider air quality cooperation in the Baltic Sea region.
