AQM III - Development of the Air Quality Monitoring System in St. Petersburg
The Baltic Institute of Finland coordinates Air Quality Monitoring (AQM) cooperation since 2004 in the framework of environmental cooperation between the Finnish Ministry of the Environment and the Committee of Nature Use, Environmental Protection and Ecological Sacety of the City of St. Petersburg. The AQM cooperation activities are aiming to promote and accelerate development of comprehensive local environmental protection systems through cooperation between Finnish cities and St. Petersburg as well as expert collaboration.
The AQM III project is focused to ensure continuous practical level cooperation on AQ measurements and dispersion modelling between experts in Finland and St. Petersburg.
The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Environment of Finland.
