Northern Dimension Advisory Network
The Northern Dimension Advisory Network is a joint project of the Aleksanteri Institute of the University of Helsinki, the Baltic Institute of Finland and the Pan-European Institute of the Turku School of Economics and Business Administration.
The goal of the Northern Dimension Advisory Network is to develop European expertise on the Northern Dimension, and to promote the networking of experts in the Baltic Sea region.
The Advisory Network promotes cross-border co-operation by providing information through the internet site. The central functions of the Network are information services on project activities, expert and research registers, directories of existing development projects, education programmes and seminars on Northern Dimension.
The role of BIF in the project is to maintain information services on the themes of the II Northern Dimension Action Plan (e.g. economy, business, environment, social issues, civil security and cross-border co-operation) focusing on the Baltic States and Poland.
Northern Dimension Advisory Network was financed by Interreg III A program during the years 2003-2004.
