The eCitizen II joint seminar and study tour arranged 18 - 19 May 2010 in Bilbao, Spain
The two-day seminar was targeting at the project partners to discuss one of the key subjects related to developing and accelerating eGovernment , Governance Requirements. The project partners prepared under the guidance of the Component 3 responsible partner, Sheffield City Council, first local reports on this subject and results were utilized in preparing content of the joint seminar. Local reports will be included in the main project output, the Pan-European Best-Practice Manual on eParticipation with recommendations for local and regional administrations.
The joint seminar and study tour in Bilbao was arranged and hosted by the project partner EUDEL www.eudel.net in the EUDEL office premises in the city center. More than 30 partner representatives attended the joint seminar and some also attended the EISCO2010 conference, which took place immediately after the eCitizen II joint seminar 20-22 May 2010. The EISCO conference is an annual European conference, which brings together politicians and experts from local and regional authorities to discuss eGovernment and Information Society www.eisco2010.eu
