eCitizen II - Transfer of Good Practices

eCitizen II project enhances transfer of good practices of developing eParticipation policies, strategies and practical tools for citizen involvement in local decison-making between the project partners as well as throughout Europe.

City of Tampere provides a good practice of the Valma eParticipation Forum,

which functions as a digital forum enabling citizens to participate in the city council decision-making process. Three partners, Vysocina region, Province of Flevoland and Kerry County will transfer this good practice and adapt it into their local contexts.

The development process, procedures, challenges and lessons learnt in adapting the good practice to different contexts and uses will be included into the eParticipation Manual for the joint benefit of the partnership, as well as Manual users Europe wide.

The involved partners will utilize the transfer results in developing local action plans or strategies on developing eParticipation services for their own regions.
