Partner meeting in Poland, January 2011

The fourth joint partner meeting will be organised in Poland in the beginning of next year. More information will follow in due course.

Partner meeting in Riga, 15-17 June 2010

The third joint partner meeting was held in Latvia in connection with the Baltic InnoReg Forum. More than 40 representatives of partner regions, inlcuding the Project Advisory Group and the Project Steering Committee, attended the meeting. During the meeting, the different work packages of the project, upcoming events, and the MoU, i.e. “Innovation Policy Memorandum", were discussed.

Partner meeting in Rostock, 25-27 November 2009

Around 30 project partner representatives participated in the second joint partner meeting in Rostock, Germany, 25-27 November 2009. Among others, the regional and transnational training processes targeted at different development organisations as well as the planning of the upcoming BSR InnoReg Forum to be organised in Riga were discussed. The Project Steering Committee had its second meeting during the event.

BSR InnoReg kick-off seminar and meeting in Tampere, 22-24 April 2009

The BSR InnoReg project kick-off meeting gathered together representatives from all 18 project partner organisations in Tampere (Finland) to discuss the project activities and agree on a more detailed work plan. The event included a seminar for wider audience introducing the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (Mr. Jari Luoto from the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs), the background of BSR InnoReg project (Dr. Gerald Braun from HIE-RO and Mr. Esa Kokkonen from the Baltic Institute of Finland) and commentary speeches of the project advisory group members (Ms Karin Jaanson, Deputy Mayor of the City of Tartu, Estonia and Tadeusz Truskolaski, President of the City of Bialystok, Poland).

The kick-off meeting also included several workshops where project partners discussed the project activities, first steering committee meeting with the project advisory group, and some study visits. Please contact Project Manager Johanna Leino in case you would like to get any presentations of the event.
