Baltic InnoReg Forum – Encountering Global Mega-Trends in Non-Metropolitan Regions, 18 June 2010, Riga

The Baltic Sea Region InnoReg project organised a high-level Baltic InnoReg Forum – Encountering Global Mega-Trends in Non-Metropolitan Regions in Riga 18 June 2010. The Forum was targeted at local and regional decision-makers and authorities from the Baltic Sea Region countries, and more than hundred people registrated for the event.

During the forum, topics such as the global mega-trends, the rapid change of global business environment, and regional innovation promotion activities were discussed.

 

The Forum also aimed to provide an outlook on innovation cooperation opportunities in the Baltic Sea Region, EU structural policy and innovation policy directions in the future. The outcomes of the Forum will be utilised for the expected main output of the BSR InnoReg project, i.e. "Baltic Innovation Policy Memorandum".
