Lakesperience – Explore the Nordic-Baltic lakes
Lakesperience is a cooperation project between lake regions from Tampere (Finland), Linköping (Sweden), Tartu (Estonia) and Burtnieku (Latvia). It aims to develop lake tourism and related services for summer and winter seasons. A joint Nordic-Baltic Lake Trails – marketing message will be created during the project for marketing the lake areas and related services especially for German tourists.
The lake tourism products and services will be developed in local and international workshops in cooperation with the lake tourism companies. The first workshops for lake tourism companies in each partner location take place in spring 2018, and continue in autumn 2018 with product development workshops and international workshop in Sweden.
A questionnaire for lake tourism companies has been prepared in all partner locations to get information on the companies and their needs. Questionnaire for lake tourism companies in Tampere Region (in Finnish, deadline 25 May 2018)
The first workshop in Tampere was organised on 15 May. 10 companies providing e.g. activity, nature, accommodation and lake cruise services took part in the event and discussed their expectations towards the project and upcoming workshops. They also provided their views on the profiles of typical German tourists visiting Tampere.
