Air quality cooperation with St . Petersburg continues

Development of the air quality management system in St. Petersburg is the focus of a recently launched cooperation project between the City of St. Petersburg and Finland, coordinated by BIF.

The project "Development of air quality cooperation between Finland and St. Petersburg - Environmental cooperation project between City of St. Petersburg and Finland" continues the long term environmental cooperation between the City of St. Petersburg and Finnish cities. Concrete activities will bring together Russian and Finnish experts on air quality. The project will last until 2010. It is financed by the Finnish Ministry of the Environment and the Committee for Nature Use, Environmental Protection and Ecological Safety of St. Petersburg.
