BIF partnering in two new BSR Programme projects

BIF is a partner in two new projects approved by the Monitoring Committee of the Baltic Sea Region Programme in Oslo on 15-16 September 2009. The project "BalticSupply - Interregional SME Supply Clusters along the Northeast Corridor" is led by Senator for Economics and Ports of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. The second project, also dealing with SME networking and development, is "BSR QUICK - Qualification, Innovation, Cooperation and Keybusiness for SMEs", and it is led by Hamburg-based Hanseatic Parliament. BIF has an important work package coordinator role in both projects. The 36-month projects start in early 2010.

In addition to the above projects, BIF is also involved as an associate partner in a third project approved in the 2nd call of BSR Programme. The project "BaltMet Promo - Creating promotional BSR products for tourists, talents and investors in the global markets" is led by the City of Helsinki.
