Training on International Project Management for the Tampere City Officials
Since 2001 BIF has carried out various training courses on international project management for the Tampere city officials. Currently there are two training courses in progress.

An Evaluation of Becoming Visible - Project
The Baltic Institute of Finland and the Pan-European Institute of Turku School of Economics and Business Administration have been assigned to carry out an evaluation on Becoming Visible-Project. Becoming Visible is an ESF/Equal-Project of reception centres worth 1,4 meuro. The project aims at creating new opportunities for asylum seekers to work and study. The evaluation takes place in 2003-2004 in three main phases:
- interim report spring 2003
- consultation and development measures for project personnel 2003-2004
- final report autumn 2004
The person in charge of the evaluation is Mr. Kai Hintsanen, education manager at the Baltic Institute of Finland.
