The first official Steering Committee meeting of the eCitizen project was organized 30 September 2005 in the city of Turku, Finland. The project manager gave on overview of the first project progress reporting process and lessons learnt. The project activities in the second part of 2005 were discussed and preliminary dates for study tours were agreed. Experiences in utilizing the project management and communication tool in the Internet, eCitizen Moodle site, were presented and discussed.
The second part of the day, the on-going eGovernment activities in the city of Turku and plans for the project activities were introduced. All the Steering Committee members were also invited to a dinner reception in the Turku castle together with the UBC General Assembly.
